#Refugeehood is not a choice; it is a #bitter necessity for survival. Behind every statistic and figure published about #refugees, there is the story of a person, a family, an abandoned home and the hopes left behind in small suitcases.

Today is a reminder of the courage and perseverance of millions of people who have fought for their natural right to “safety and life”.
Let us build bridges instead of walls and let us not forget that no one leaves their home and homeland voluntarily.

#پناهندگی یک انتخاب نیست؛ یک #ناچاریِ_تلخ برای بقاست. پشت هر آمار و رقمی که از #پناهجویان منتشر می‌شود، داستان یک انسان، یک خانواده، یک خانه رها شده و امیدهایی است که در چمدان‌های کوچک سفر جا مانده‌اند.

امروز یادآور شجاعت و استقامت میلیون‌ها انسانی است که برای حقِ طبیعی خود یعنی «امنیت و زندگی» جنگیده‌اند.
بیایید به جای دیوار، پل بسازیم و فراموش نکنیم که هیچ‌کس داوطلبانه خانه و وطن خود را ترک نمی‌کند.
